DNR accepts art and photos for new license card contest

Know any nature-loving artists or photographers? The Indiana Department of Natural Resource's Division of Fish & Wildlife is hosting an art and photo contest for Indiana residents of all ages.

By early 2025, those purchasing an Indiana hunting, trapping, fishing, or combo license will have the option to purchase their license (for a nominal fee) in the form of a durable card that can withstand harsh outdoor conditions.

To celebrate this highly requested new product, the cards will feature nature and wildlife-themed art from talented Indiana residents.
Four artists’ submissions will be chosen for the background artwork.

The contest is underway through Aug. 2, and participants can submit up to two nature-themed artworks via email to DFWContests@dnr.IN.gov. Find more contest guidelines at: https://events.in.gov/event/DFWCardContest.
