The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is inviting the public to join in a free guided hike of the Judy Burton / Manitou Islands Nature Preserve.
The hike is Oct. 19 at 6:00 a.m. Central. The Fulton County preserve provides ample opportunities to see muskrats, mink, deer and other wildlife including marshland birds such as marsh wrens, rails, ducks, herons. Migration time brings more waterfowl into the area.
