Former state senator Randy Head, now chair of the Indiana Republican Party, and Indiana House Speaker Todd Huston have been tapped to speak at this year's Lincoln Day Dinner.
The dinner, held annually by the Fulton County Republican Party, is set for Sept. 14 at the Fulton Community Center, 204 E. Dunn St., Fulton. Doors open at 5 p.m. for social networking, followed by opening remarks an hour later.
Dinner is $35 per person, and raffle tickets to win a quarter of beef are $10 each. To purchase raffle tickets, call 574-817-0038. Four winners will be drawn and will need to contact Grass Creek Cattle Company to arrange pick-up.
Attendees must bring cash/check to participate in day of event raffles.

Head is the featured guest speaker. He served for 11 years as a Republican state senator from Logansport in northern Indiana. He resigned from his seat in August 2019 with more than a year remaining in his third term to become Pulaski County’s chief deputy prosecutor.
Head was first elected to the Indiana Senate in 2008. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for state attorney general in 2016.
Huston is the keynote speaker. He is the current speaker of the Indiana House of Representatives and represents District 37. He assumed office in November 2012, and his current term ends this November.
Huston is running for reelection in the Nov.5 general election. He advanced from the Republican primary in May.
