The reimagined take on a classic menu item was secretly introduced at the McDonnell’s pop-up by Chain.
Fans have been clamoring for McDonald’s Chicken Big Mac – a twist on the original Big Mac that has been a fan favorite since 1968 – to debut in the U.S. After making appearances on McDonald’s menus around the world, U.S. fans are now getting their chance to experience this limited-time offer starting Oct. 10 at participating locations while supplies last.
The Chicken Big Mac features the toppings fans know and love from the original Big Mac, but with two tempura battered chicken patties in place of the two all-beef patties for the ultimate twist on the classic. Just like the original Big Mac, the Chicken Big Mac is topped with special sauce, lettuce, cheese and pickles on a sesame seed bun.
McDonald’s secretly introduced the Chicken Big Mac this past weekend at McDonnell’s – a Los Angeles dining experience hosted by Chain. Guests and even some famous fans in attendance unknowingly sampled the new menu item – aka, McDonnell’s “Chicken Sandwich.”
Now that the secret is out, McDonald’s poses the question: Is the Chicken Big Mac a Big Mac? To get to the bottom of it, it's enlisted the help of Big Mac superfan and internet star Kai Cenat, who will welcome his friends to try the Chicken Big Mac on his livestream and share their unfiltered reactions. Follow along on McDonald’s social channels all month long to find out when Kai and his friends will be going live and giving their opinions on if a Chicken Big Mac’s a Big Mac.
