Jail Bookings
The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Zebadiah R. Breyfogle, 29, Indianapolis, was arrested Tuesday on a preliminary charge of invasion of privacy. He was taken into custody by city police after being involved in a two-vehicle wreck at Ninth Street and Woodlawn Hospital Drive.
• Karen S. Lackey, 48, 2880 Bachelor Road, Rochester, was arrested Tuesday on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. She was taken into custody at the city police department and held without bond.
Police Incidents
Assistance requested
• At 11:07 a.m. Tuesday, police received a request to assist with a welfare check of a 4-year-old boy. Police records indicate that his mother has allegedly continued to deny the Department of Child Services access to the child. Those records also indicate that she has a history of drug use and appeared to be intoxicated the last time she was in the DCS office.
Fraud
• At 11:22 a.m. Tuesday, a man reported to city police that someone hacked his bank account and $973 was removed through four transactions at different locations in Ohio. Other transactions were reportedly attempted, but denied.
Leaving the scene
• At 11:29 a.m. Tuesday, a man reported that someone in a white SUV drove away after hitting his vehicle in the parking lot of Kroger, 2040 Peace Tree Village.
Wrecks
• Vehicles driven by Marsha J. Roberts, 73, of Rochester, and Michelle L. Zimmerman, 55, of Celina, collided shortly before noon Tuesday at Ninth Street and Woodlawn Hospital Drive.
• A vehicle driven by Nichole Tunis, 37, of Rochester, hit a sign and went into a ditch at approximately 9:25 p.m. Tuesday near 1960 E. 700 North, Rochester. No injuries were reported, and a family member arrived to pick up three juveniles that were in the vehicle.
Theft
• At 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, a man reported that his sister's boyfriend stole a $70 headlamp from him.
Fire call
• Shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters were dispatched to a report of smoke in a house at 11113 W. 250 South, Kewanna. All occupants were safely out of the home upon arrival.
