The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death that was reported recently at Rising Sun Campground, 7510 North 250 East, near Monterey.
According to police, the woman was found dead Saturday inside of a tent at the campground.
Though not much is yet known on the case, officials stated that while there is not a threat to the public, the death investigation is still ongoing.

The flyers were in support of a mass deportation that would allegedly be taking place Jan. 20, 2025, stating immigrants are to “leave now” to “avoid deportation,” and encouraged locals to monitor and report foreigners.

Beverly Bowen, 80, of Peru, was pronounced dead Monday after being struck by a vehicle driven by James Sturgill, 53, of Wabash.
