A bomb threat to Logansport's Beacon Credit Union on Saturday led to an investigation that resulted in the arrest of Jacob Rozzi, 27, of Logansport earlier this week.

According to a press release on Monday, just before 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office received a report about a potential bomb threat at Beacon Credit Union, 1405 W. Market St., Logansport.

Court documents further stated that a preliminary investigation revealed that the Beacon Credit Union Contact Center had received two phone calls from a person who claimed to be planning on “blowing up the building“ with a pipe bomb. Officers responded to the scene, securing the area for a search and reporting that no explosive devices were found in the building.  The bank was then closed for the day as a result of the threat.
