A third reading of Fulton County's 2025 salary ordinance and a subsequent vote is set for the council's next meeting, 5 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Fulton County Office Building.
Raises are to come to all Fulton County employees in the new year.
Hourly employees are to receive a raise of $1 per hour, and salaried employees are to receive an equivalent $2,000 pay bump. Commissioners and council members also are to receive an additional $1,000 for their service.
Council President Ron Dittman noted wages for sheriff's deputies are also to increase, but will vary from others and be more compatible to counties of a similar size and demographics.
The raises will come with approval of the 2025 Salary Ordinance by the Fulton County Council. The ordinance was introduced earlier this week and received two readings. A third reading and subsequent vote of approval is set for the council next meeting, 5 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Fulton County Office Building.
