Herbert Linville Stevens, 93, of Argos, passed away December 1, 2024, at 12:06 p.m. at his residence. On November 8, 1931, in Redwine, Kentucky he was born to Sanford & Elizabeth (Hill) Stevens.
He lived in the Argos community since 1955.
On November 10, 1955, in Argos, Indiana he married Shirley Andrews and for the past 69 years they shared the joys, worries, tenderness, and companionship of their married life.
Herbert worked as a molder for 40 years at Bremen Castings, Bremen, Indiana. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Argos, Indiana.
Herbert is survived by his Wife – Shirley Stevens of Argos, Indiana
Sisters – Bonnie Susits and husband John of Argos; Linda Hale and husband Jim of Lakeville, Indiana
Brother – Sherman Stevens and wife Linda of Bourbon

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers – Donald, Jimmy, Harold, Hobert, William and Sisters – Edna Roberts, Ruby Brock, Juanita Duff
Friends may visit with the family Thursday December 5, 2024, from 11– 1 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ, 15676 Michigan Road, Argos, Indiana. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Denton Howard. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
