Janice Irene (McIntire) Wynn, 84 of Spartanburg, South Carolina and formerly of the Culver community, passed away April 1, 2024, at 11:10 p.m. at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House, Spartanburg, South Carolina.
On January 25, 1940, in Wyatt, Indiana she was born to Floyd McIntire and Grace (Buss) McIntire. She lived in Culver, Indiana for 48 years, spending the past several years in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
On July 17, 1959, in Stockton, Illinois she married Nelson Lee Wynn and for 43 years they shared the joys, worries, tenderness, and companionship of their married life. Nelson preceded her on December 21, 2002.
Janice was a cook at the Corner Tavern in Culver, Indiana for 32 years and was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Culver, Indiana.
Janice is survived by her Daughter – Karen Hoover of Spartanburg, South Carolina
Daughter-in-Law – Sandra Wynn of Monterey, Indiana
Granddaughters – Jessica Wynn, Heather Wynn both of Monterey, Indiana, and Amber Gilbert of Monterey, Indiana

Sisters – Esther Ecker of LaPaz, Indiana; Pat Jennings of Virginia, Sharon Vasquez of San Antonio, Texas
Brother – Darrell McIntire and wife Mary of Argos, Indiana
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Daughter – Kathy Bridge, Son – Kevin Wynn, Sister – Mildred Tom, Brothers – Eugene McIntire, Devon McIntire, and Warren (Red) McIntire
Graveside Services will be Monday April 8, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Poplar Grove Cemetery.
Burial will follow the service at the cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.
