Michael “Mike” Link, 76, of Monticello, formerly of Winamac, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 at IU Health Hospital in Lafayette.
Born on March 28, 1948, he was the eldest child of the late Donald Paul and Mary Ellen [Parker] Link. Mike was raised on the family farm west of Star City where he learned all about hard work at a young age. He attended the Pulaski and Star City Schools. While in high school, Mike was a member of FFA and played basketball. On July 28, 1967, he married Sue “Susie” Smith from Monterey at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pulaski. Susie passed away in a tragic car accident on April 19, 1998.
Mike drove semi for Tim Powers for many years and most recently drove for Adam Loehmer until his retirement.

Private burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac.
