Nancy B. Muir, 73, of Winamac, passed
away at 4:15 AM on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Hickory Creek of Winamac.
On December 9, 1950, Nancy Bernice Hunnicutt was born in Winamac to Herbert and Mary Ellen Wayne Hunnicutt. She was one of ten children.
As a homemaker Nancy took great joy spending time with her family during the holidays and special family celebrations. Watching the news and keeping up on current events was a part of her daily ritual. Nancy loved and supported our 45th President. She also collected special memorabilia of President Trump. Looking for great deals, Nancy liked going to the Good Samaritan in Winamac and area Goodwill stores in search of special treasures.
Left to cherish Nancy's memory are daughter Mia Wald and husband Wes of Kenosha, WI; two sons: Dustin Johnson and wife Dawn of Plymouth, Russell Muir of Angola; five grandchildren: Peggy Johnson, Joey Johnson, Ariel Spencer and husband Ryan, Cheyenne Spencer and husband Brandon, Alexander Chambers and wife Dani; five great-grandchildren: Chloe Eichel, Leland Collings, Payten Barone, Chevie Van drunen, Farren Spencer; four siblings: Gertrude Willins and husband Clifford of Greer, SC, Robert Hunnicutt and wife Dulcine of Knox, Millie Besoui of FL, Francis Hunnicutt and wife Kay of Medaryville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Nancy in death are her parents, husband Jack Johnson on July 29, 1984, five siblings, Wilma Harrington, Bonnie Musselman, Gerald Hunnicutt , Roberta Crull and James Hunnicutt.
A celebration of the life of Nancy B. Muir will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 9, 2024 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester.
Friends may visit with her family one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
