Demolition Derby: 6PM

 

The Demolition Derby thrills crowds with its high-action and intense collisions, as drivers compete to outlast each other in a spectacle of automotive chaos and excitement at the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand.

Lita Ford: 7:30PM

Lita Ford, the iconic rock guitarist and singer, will be performing at the Hoosier Lottery Free Stage tonight. Known for her powerful guitar riffs and hits like “Close My Eyes Forever,” Ford promises to deliver an electrifying show. The concert is free with fair admission, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Back by popular demand! We’re moving last year’s smash hit ILLUMINATE! Outdoors to The Backyard with 14 all-new immersive lantern sculptures. Experience the spectacular display of artistry every day of the Fair!

State Fair Outdoor Basketball Court->  Gate 12            

We’re Hoosiers! As if we could just say ‘bye-bye!’ to Basketball. Our brand-new outdoor court is now open and is a permanent addition to the Fair! Open daily for free-play 9 AM-9PM, located just inside Gate 12. Camps & Contest Dates; vary

Artscape: Where Imagination Grows Anila Agha’s All the flowers Are for Me: Turquoise Newfields Performances, Demos & Gift shop Exclusive Conversation with Anila Agha!-> Harvest Pavilion      

Anila Agha is an Indianapolis- based artist, internationally recognized for her large-scale installations. With these award-winning works, Agha creatively uses light, shadow, and pattern to provide a uniquely immersive and inclusive art experience that’s meant to be shared. Newfields invites you to bask in the glow pf her piece All the Flowers are For Me: Turquoise- on display every day of the Fair in Harvest Pavilion!

Looking for a quick way to cool off? Check out our newest permanent fixture- the State Fair Splash Pad, a gentle water play experience and a perfect gathering spot for families! Located in MHS Family Fun Park, open daily 9AM-8PM

Taste & Create: Cookies, Coffee & Cuddles-> Mac Reynolds Barn

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to indulge and get comfy with some four-legged friends at the Mac Reynolds Barn!

The Greatest American Duck Race-> MHS Family Fun Park

One water track. Four duck lanes. Countless smiles! Whether you’re chosen to participate pr not, everyone’s a winner at this unique and educational spectacle of swimming game! Wander into MHS Family Fun Park at 12,2,4,6:30 PM to catch The Great American Duck Race. An additional 10:30AM show will take place on Saturdays & Sundays.

Chris Lantz of Extreme Sculpting-> Main Street            

Sawdust will fly and the chainsaw will roar as internationally award-winning chainsaw artist Chris Lantz transforms an ordinary log into an extraordinary work of art. His thrilling & fast-paced show is sure to amaze viewers of all ages- you’ll have to see it to believe it! Be sure to catch Extreme Sculpting on Main Street at 2:30, 4:30, & 6:30 PM. An additional 11:30 AM show will take place on Saturdays & Sundays.

Demolition Derby-> Hoosier Lottery Grandstand

Experience the high-octane thrill of the Demolition Derby at the Indiana State Fair Grandstand! Watch cars collide in a spectacular show of speed and destruction. Fun for the whole family!

Lita Ford-> Hoosier Lottery Free Stage

Lita Ford is an American guitarist, songwriter and vocalist. She was the lead guitarist for an all-female rock band in the late 1970s called “The Runaways,” but then embarked on her own solo career. Her solo career reached its peak in the late 1980s, with her 1989 single “Close My Eyes Forever,” which was a duet with Ozzy Osbourne, reaching number eight on the US Billboard Hot 100. Her singles “Kiss Me Deadly” and “Fire in My Heart” are also major hit singles. Ford released her album Black in the mid-1990s before taking a hiatus from 1996-2007 but has been touring and rockin’ stages across the globe for many years.
