Jo Ann Reese passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her friends and neighbors on September 4.
She lived such a full life and loved sharing her stories with friends and loved ones. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt. Whether you knew her as Aunt Jo, Jojo, or Jo Ann to know her was to love her. She spent most of her life traveling the US with her beloved husband Denny. They loved to travel, read, and visit with their many friends all over the country. Their dog Castle, who they adored, was there for it all. Her daughter Michele was her greatest love in life. She was always there for Michele & Jessie no matter what. She got to spend the last years of her life enjoying time with her great-grandchildren Asher and Amelia. Who she called “her babies.” Being the only girl with 4 brothers she was the matriarch of the Morris family. She loved her nieces & nephews like they were hers. We will miss her so much, but we are grateful for the beautiful life she had.
A memorial service for Jo Ann will be held Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home.
The family will be receiving flowers or in lieu of flowers, contributions in Jo Ann's memory may be made to St. Jude's.
