Randall (Randy) Leslie Cordell went home to be with his heavenly father on August 6, 2024, after a brief illness at the age of 66.
Randy is survived by his children Jason (Alicia) Cordell and Kayla Cordell (Ben Dye), sisters Brenda (Bob) Ream, Linda Lewis, one granddaughter Lexie Cordell, many nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends in Louisiana, Indiana and Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lexie and Wanda Cordell, sister Vickie Sue Cordell and brother-in-law Gerry Lewis.
Randy graduated from Southwood High School and was a Master Pump Mechanic by trade. He retired from Sulzer Nuclear in Chattanooga, TN after starting with Bingham Pump and working for over 40 years through several buyouts and at various locations.
Randy loved the Lord and spending time with his family and friends. He loved joking around and keeping a pristine lawn. He had a passion for vehicles, especially those that stood tall with lifted trucks being his favorite. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch, drinking coffee, talking with the neighbors and watching the hummingbirds.
He was the best Dad, brother and friend to so many and he is missed dearly.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnel 2 Towers (T2T.org) or your local humane shelter.
A Celebration of Life service for Randy will be held at a later date.
