Indiana State Police say a Knox County man was charged with multiple drug offenses after a late Sunday night traffic stop.
Reports indicate that a trooper pulled over a vehicle being driven by 39 year old William Davis of Vincennes on Indiana State Road 61 near Church Street. He noticed Davis behaving suspiciously and called in a K-9 unit for a vehicle check. The dog registered a hit and a subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered glass smoking devices, pills and digital scales. A search of Davis revealed 13 grams of suspected methamphetamine inside one of his socks.
He was taken into custody and preliminarily charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphenalia, Dealing in a Controlled Substance and Possession of Stolen Property. He was booked into the Knox County Jail.
