Lawrenceville Mayor David Courtney has announced a special session of the city council later this wee
The mayor indicated to WAKO News that the meeting will be Thursday, March 28th at 1:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall. It is anticipated that the mayor will make an appointment to fill the Ward 4 vacancy on the council created by the resignation of Heather Cornwell who moved out of the ward. That appointment needs the approval of the council.
The council could also go into an executive session to deal with legal proceedings in regards to an abandoned property.
