The Illinois State Police Thursday arrested 48 year old Christopher Tewell of Lawrenceville. He has been preliminarily charged with Unlawful Use of Weapons and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (10-30 grams). He was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was being held there pending a detention hearing. Lawrenceville Police report the Thursday arrest of 43 year old Bobby Baughn of Bridgeport on a charge of Domestic Battery. He was taken to the Lawrence County Jail and was being held there pending a detention hearing. The Lawrence County Sheriffs Department Thursday picked up 32 year old Johnny Vantlin the 2nd of Bridgeport on a warrant for Failure to Appear in Court. He was booked into the Lawrence County jail and was being held there on that warrant.
