With the 104th Illinois General Assembly underway in Springfield, 51st District Republican State Senator Chapin Rose has been reappointed as the Republican Caucus chief budget negotiator.
He is currently the ranking Republican on the Senate Appropriations Committee.
In addition to his role as chief budget negotiator, Rose has also been reappointed to multiple committees including Appropriations-Education, Financial Institutions, Insurance and Judiciary. The 51st District does include Lawrence County.
