Beulah ‘Marie’ Alford, age 102, of Providence, Kentucky, formerly of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, December 01, 2024 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville, Kentucky. She was born on July 17, 1922 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Ray and Emma J. (Acker) Adams.
Marie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Hi-Way Church of God.
Preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, Raymond Adams, Lyman Adams, and Donald Adams; and one son, Robert A. Alford.
Survivors include four children, Helen Roll and husband, James of Henderson, Kentucky, Jack Alford of Henderson, Kentucky, Emma J. Alford of Providence, Kentucky, and Donald Eugene Alford of Providence, Kentucky; four brothers, Robert Adams of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Jack Adams and wife, Carole of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Shelby Adams and wife, Arlene of Winter Haven, Florida, and George Adams of Lawrenceville, Illinois; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 05, 2024 at 11:00 AM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
