Bruce A. Pruitt, age 73, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Friday, May 05, 2023 at his residence. He was born on April 30, 1950 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the son of Chester and Lucille Pruitt. He married Deborah L. gler on June 21, 1993, and she survives. Bruce served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and was a self-employed truck driver. He enjoyed attending car shows. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his wife; four children, Bruce Pruitt, Jr. and wife, Heather of Michigan, Tyrone Pruitt of Alabama, Tasha Roberts and husband, Gary of Oakland City, Indiana, and Nicole Marshall and husband, Drew of Lawrenceville, Illinois; two sisters, Linda of Texas and Donna of Tennessee; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. There will be no formal services conducted. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society.
