Debra A. (Mangold) Lockhart, age 70, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She was born on December 12, 1952 in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of Ralph and Kathleen (Williams) Mangold. She married John C. Lockhart on March 03, 1973, and he survives. Debra retired from the Lawrence County Housing Authority, after working there for 40 plus years. She was a member of the Hi-Way Church of God. Her hobbies included cooking and spending time with her family. Preceding her in death were her parents and five siblings, Richard Mangold, Marilyn Horn, Larry Mangold, Gary Mangold, and Jimmy Mangold. Survivors include her husband; two children, Tracy Lockhart and wife, Stacy of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Kelly Lockhart and significant other, Kenneth Marsh of Sebring, Florida; five brothers, Don Mangold of Evansville, Indiana, Randy Mangold and wife, Lawana of Evansville, Indiana, Robert ‘Bob’ Mangold and wife, Shirley of Evansville, Indiana, Ronald Mangold and wife, Kim of Evansville, Indiana, and Ralph Mangold and wife, Teresa of Hilton Head, South Carolina; three sisters, Sharon Gruebel of Evansville, Indiana, Colene Mattingly of Borden, Indiana, and Bettye Armel of West Virginia; four grandchildren, Trevor Lockhart and wife, Lori of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Micheal Wright and wife, Jacquelyn of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Shayla Lockhart of Sumner, Illinois, and Madyson Wright of Lawrenceville, Illinois; eight great-grandchildren, Madison McPherson, D.J. Snyder, Ellieanna Walker, Marabelle Lockhart, Everleigh Hill, Matthew Prater, Jr., River Lockhart, and Oakleigh Douglas; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM CDT at the at the Hi-Way Church of God, located at 10611 Kaskaskia Lane in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM CDT at the church. Burial will be in the May Chapel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrenceville Senior Citizens.
