Esther Marie Devall, age 71, of Toledo, IL passed away at 12:04 pm on Friday February 14, 2025, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon.
Esther Marie Devall, age 71, of Toledo, IL passed away at 12:04 pm on Friday February 14, 2025, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday February 21, 2025, at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday February 22, 2025, at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Crest Haven Memorial Park in Claremont, IL.
Esther was born on November 16, 1953, in Lawrenceville, IL, to Harold and Mary (Edmundson) Jackman. She married Dan Devall on November 16, 1973. Survivors include her loving husband, Dan; sons Duane (Whitney) Devall, and Kevin (Suzie) Devall; grandchildren MaKayla Devall, Bristol Schrock, Brittany Devall, and Megan Devall; brothers Larry Jackman, Steve (Sue) Jackman, and Ron (Dinah) Jackman; sisters Carol Jackman, and Sharon (Glenn) Black. She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant daughter Debra Ann Devall.
Esther was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her family and church family. Esther was a member of the Greenup Pilgram Holiness Church.
