Keith Daniel ‘Skinney’ McKinney, age 64, of Pinckneyville, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Carbondale Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Illinois. He was born on September 05, 1960 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of Rondel Lee and Ruthe A. (Brink) McKinney.
Skinney worked in the oilfields. He enjoyed fishing; and spending time with his family, nieces, nephews, friends, and his dog, Cheezee.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include two brothers, Jeffrey McKinney and Michael McKinney both of Bridgeport, Illinois; three sisters, Evelyn Arnold of Bridgeport, Illinois, Cindy McKinney of Bridgeport, Illinois, and Rhonda Fuentes of Sumner, Illinois; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no formal services. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
