Linda Marie (Hawkins) Senger, age 75 of Sumner, IL, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in Evansville, IN at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital.
Linda Marie (Hawkins) Senger, age 75 of Sumner, IL, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in Evansville, IN at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Grayville, IL on May 14, 1949, to Eleanor (Hohlbaugh) Corrie.
She married Jack Senger. Together they raised their family and sincerely enjoyed spending time together. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife.
Linda’s grandchildren were the true joy in her life. She had worked many years for Dr. Bouffard at Richland Radiology and later as a receptionist at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital Acute Care Clinic.
Surviving relatives include: her husband- Jack Senger of Sumner, IL; three daughters- Teresa Smith and husband Travis of Oblong, IL, Michelle Turner and husband Kyle of Bridgeport, IL, and Amy Zachary and husband Ed of Arcadia, IN; one son- Tom Senger of Sumner, IL; one brother- Rodger Hawkins and wife Elaine of Sumner; one sister- Charla and husband Dennis of Vincennes, IN; nine grandchildren- Derek Yager, Seth Smith and wife Lexie, Michael Turner, Tyler Turner and wife Jasmine, Sabrina Woodward and husband Austin, Stephen Zachary, Hope Senger, Urijah Senger, and Jael Senger; two great-grandchildren- Kari Giffin and Gemma Smith and one more in the way: and several nieces and nephews
Linda was preceded in death by: her mother- Eleanor (Hohlbaugh) Corrie; one son- Timmy Lee Senger; and three sisters- Elaine Osmon, Marilyn Umfleet, and Donna Foster.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Bridgeport City Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport is handling her arrangements.
