Nada Clarice Smith, age 82 of Bridgeport, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Aperion Care of Bridgeport. She was born in Bridgeport on October 6, 1940, to Clarence and Cora (Scott) Smith. Nada was a Bridgeport Township High School graduate. She enjoyed reading, coloring, watching her TV shows, going to flea markets and auctions, and truly loved spending time with family and friends. Surviving relatives include: her sister, Ldora “Buttons” Laughlin and husband Keith of Bridgeport; eight nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Clarence and Cora Smith; siblings, Virginia Petty and twin in infancy; one nephew, John Kasinger, Jr.; and her companion, Jim Eagle. Cremation will take place with no formal services planned. Cunningham Funeral Home of Bridgeport is assisting Nada’s family at this time of loss.
