Nellie L (Tremley) Shidler 93 of Lawrenceville Illinois, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Charleston Rehab and Healthcare Center Charleston Illinois She was born September 9, 1929, in Petty Township Illinois, the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Annie May (Secoed) Tremley. Nellie married Robert Leroy Shidler on March 31 1948 and he preceded her in death. Nellie was a Homemaker and worked beside her husband on their farm. She was a member of the Island Free Methodist Church, she also was a member of the United Methodist Village Auxiliary. Nellie went on many mission trips with her husband to Haiti to help build churches. She is survivor by her two loving daughters Debra Himes of Charleston, IL, and Deeanna Shilder of Danville, IL. 4 grandchildren Cara Daniel and husband Greg, Robert Kosack and wife Jessica, Julie Gondzur and husband Arron, Jess Kosack.7 great grandchildren Lydia Gondzur, Lanie Gondzur, Kenley Kosack, Aiden Kosack, Joeclyn Daniel, Alana Kosack,and Harper Kosack. She was preceded in death by her parents,husband Robert Shidler, 2 brothers Marion Trembley, Andrew Jackson Tremley, 2 sisters Ellen Weaver, and Mae Seessengood. Funeral Services for Nellie will be at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday February 14, 2023 at Glasser Funeral Home, Bridgeport. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. until time of service. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers ,memorials may be made to Lawrence Country Senior Citizens Center
