Nicki Sue Stevenson, age 71 of Lawrenceville, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Gentle Care in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born January 11, 1953, in Lawrenceville to Ronald Eugene Stevenson and Charlene Fern (Moore) Stevenson Bach. Nicki was a member of Pleasant Ridge Christian Church. She had worked as a radiologist at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital until her retirement. Following her retirement, she continued in radiology at Good Samaritan Hospital. Nicki enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, and she loved spending time with her family especially her granddaughters. Surviving family includes: two children- Aaron Carter and wife Jacie of Lawrenceville and Mary Walls and husband Richard of Lawrenceville: one daughter-in-law- Jennifer Carter of Montgomery, IN: two brothers Ronald “Jay” Stevenson and wife Gina of Lawrenceville and Michael Bach and wife Ginny of Lawrenceville: one sister- Terri Carr of Macon, IL: 5 grandchildren- Madison Jones and husband Ben, Hailey Carter, Cydney Carter, Allie Walls and Ava Carter: two step-grandchildren- Caleb and Colton Evans: and her special friend- John Ketterman o Lawrenceville. She was preceded by: her parents- Ronald Eugene Stevenson, Charlene Bach, and Merle Bach: one son- Jeremy Carter: and one sister- Jan Coffman. A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. (CST) at Cunningham-Young Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Cunningham-Young Funeral Home is assisting the family at this time of loss.
