Patricia Ann Knoerr, age 94, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Bridgepointe Health Campus in Vincennes, Indiana.
Patricia Ann Knoerr, age 94, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Bridgepointe Health Campus in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on January 23, 1931 in Birds, Illinois, the daughter of Amadee and Bonnie (Wampler) Biggs. She married Jack Knoerr on December 08, 1951, and he preceded her in death on December 30, 2020.
Pat worked as an assistant librarian for the Lawrence Township Library for 18 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, decorating her home, shopping, listening to Elvis, traveling with Jack, as well as spending time with her family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; and three sisters, Shirley Lackey, Betty Montgomery, and Faegene Delaney.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Knoerr and wife, Joyce of Whiteland, Indiana and Jay Knoerr and wife, Judy of Lawrenceville Illinois; one grandchild, Lacey Ann Conrad and husband, Eric; with the anticipated arrival of her first great-grandchild, Milo.
The funeral will be Friday February 07, 2025 at 1:00pm CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois with burial to follow at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation is also Friday from 12:00pm until the service hour of 1:00pm CST at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the City of Lawrenceville Christmas Fund or the Lawrence Township Library.
