Raymond Neal Lawson, age 71 of Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Good Samaritan Hospital after battling cancer.
Raymond Neal Lawson, age 71 of Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday, August 28,
2024, at Good Samaritan Hospital after battling cancer. He was born September 6,
1952, in Lawrenceville to Frank and Ruby (Croslow) Lawson.
Raymond graduated from Bridgeport Township High School and attended Olney
Community College. He was a heavy equipment operator, truck driver, and
owner/operator of Raymond Lawson Trucking.
Surviving family includes: his longtime companion- Karen (Duncan) Lawson of
Bridgeport: two sons-Dustin Lawson of Bridgeport and Adam Stewart and his wife
Jamie of Bridgeport: one half-brother- Tony Lawson and his wife Anna of
Washington, IN: four grandchildren- Cameron, Audrey, Carin and Alexander: four
great grandchildren- Sam, Colby, Lane, and Ryan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Ruby Lawson.
A walk-through reception will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the
Cunningham Funeral Home on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Graveside services will
follow at 12:00 p.m. at Bridgeport City Cemetery.
