Rose Mary Musgrove, age 96 of Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Aperion-Care of Bridgeport. She was born September 7, 1928, in Lawrenceville to Earl Francis Cupp and his wife Grace Esther (Sager) Cupp.
As a young woman, Rose Mary married Raymond Tedford. After he passed away, she was fortunate to find love again and married Kenneth Musgrove. He preceded her in death also.
She was a homemaker to her family, had worked for the telephone company, and spent many years working in the Lawrence County Treasurer office for Larry Umfleet. Rose Mary enjoyed cooking, playing the piano, listening to music, and staying active. She loved to be outside. Walking around town and mowing her yard were definitely at the top of the list. Her family was important to her, and she loved spending time with them.
Surviving family includes: one daughter- Cathy Berkshire and husband Alan of Bridgeport: eight grandchildren- William Morris “Buddy” Robinson and wife Jessie of St. Francisville; Rustin Alan Berkshire of Vincennes, IN; Stephanie Drummond and husband Robert of Bridgeport; Jeremy Tedford of Lawrenceville; Nathan Tedford and wife Elizabeth of Bridgeport; Ian Brent Tedford of Bridgeport; Leah Greco and husband Kevin of Palm Coast, FL; and Emily Cangialosi and fiancé Michael LaPierre of Palm Coast, FL: eleven great-grandchildren- Olivia, Kaitlyn, Levi, Allyson, Hannah, James, Kristin, Morghinne, Lincoln, Quinn, and Mason: and two great-great-grandchildren- Neela and Knox.
She was preceded in death by: her parents- Earl and Grace Cupp: her husbands- Raymond Tedford and Kenneth Musgrove: one son- Stephen Tedford: and five siblings- Darrell, Earl, Don, Imogene, and Maxine.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Funeral services will follow immediately at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery near Claremont.
