Scott Michael Dunlap, age 58 of Olney and formerly of Lawrence County, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024, at Carle Hospital.
Scott Michael Dunlap, age 58 of Olney and formerly of Lawrence County, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024, at Carle Hospital. He was born in Vincennes, IN on March 29, 1966, to John and Phyllis (Cawood) Dunlap.
Scott attended the Christian Church of Olney when he was able and truly loved his church family. Watching sports was a joy in his life. He liked going to games at Lincoln Trail College, Olney Central College, and Olney High School when he could. His friends at Richland Nursing and Rehabilitation held a special place in his heart. Scott made friends easily and rarely forgot a classmate or co-worker.
He is survived by numerous cousins and friends. His parents preceded him in death.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Cunningham-Young Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Christian Church in Olney (400 Sam St., Olney, IL). Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Jones Cemetery of Flat Rock.
