A familiar name has been named as the new head football coach at Princeton (Ind.).
Derek Archer was selected to head the Tiger program.
Archer is a Gibson County (Ind.) native who lives in Mt Carmel, Ill.
He has been with the North Gibson school district as a teacher and coach since 2019.
Archer has been an assistant football coach for 21 years, including 6 years working at Red Hill High School as an assistant in the Saluki program.
He also coached Lady Saluki track and field during his time in Bridgeport.
