The Lawrenceville baseball Indians showed signs of rust from inactivity Thursday as they lost 10-3 to the Olney (Richland Co) Tigers at Unit 20 Ballpark in Lawrenceville.
The Tribe was playing for the first time in almost three weeks due to weather.
The Tigers scored 10 runs on 12 hits and committed 4 errors while the Indians scored 3 runs and were held to 1 hit while making 7 errors.
Maddox Pargin had that hit and an RBI and Eli Vennard also had a RBI.
Emery Ivers, the first of four Indian pitchers, took the loss as he went 3 1/3 innings and gave up 7 runs.
The Indians are now 5-3 and will get back to action Monday when they travel to Mt Carmel.
