Congratulations to the White Squirrels Battalion 5 on 5 team based out of Olney.
They are the 2024 Randy’s Court Tournament champions. They capped off a long day of hoops by beating Dirty Socks based out of Robinson to win the title in the final game. Dirty Socks had forced a second game by winning earlier. Dirty Socks had knocked off Bows and Arrows from Lawrence County in the semi-finals.
The annual tournament is held at the public court located near Nuttall Middle School and raises money to help local organizations and to provide two college scholarships for local youth. Scholarship recipients this year were Bryant Jenkins of Lawrenceville and Noah Gilmore of Robinson.
