Congratulation to two Lawrence County wrestlers who qualified for the IHSA state finals by virtue of their finishes at sectionals this past Saturday. Delaney Ledbetter finished fourth at Peoria (Richwoods) in the 110 pound class and will wrestle in that class at the girls wrestling state tournament at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington Friday and Saturday February 23-24th. Dylan Camden finished fourth in the 285 class at Vandalia Saturday and will advance to compete in the boys wrestling state tournament this weekend starting Thursday February 15-Saturday February 17th at the State Farm Center in Champaign.
