County police arrested a 21-year-old Bourbon man for neglect of a dependent after a traffic stop where he was found to be operating while intoxicated and in possession of THC products.

On Sunday at approximately 10 p.m., Deputy Ash with the Marshall County Sheriff's Department conducted a traffic stop on a white 2016 Jeep in the area of U.S. 30 and Oak Drive. During the traffic stop, the driver, Griffen A. Beliles of East Center Street in Bourbon, was found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated and in possession of THC products. It was also found that one of the occupants of the vehicle was a child.

Beliles was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for neglect of a dependent, operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangering, and possession of marijuana and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
