Officers with the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to 315 West Garro Street, the downtown Garden Court, on Wednesday, March 19th, at about 2:20 in the afternoon for possible drug activity going on in one of the apartments.

The caller advised there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the apartment room.

When Plymouth Police Officers arrived, a staff member said one of the suspected males was walking out the back door to leave and was highly intoxicated.

Officer Fisher stopped the male identified as Brian Braden, 48, of the Creekside Mobile Home Park in LaPaz. He was asked if they were upstairs smoking marijuana, and he advised just what he bought at BP.  Braden told the officer he still had some on him. It was field-tested and tested positive for marijuana.

Brian Baden was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to Marshall County Jail.  He was booked in for possession of a scheduled substance and held on a $500 cash bond.
