Plymouth Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Nutmeg and Oakhill for a male subject stumbling in the roadway Thursday night.

Jeffery Recupido, age 37, of Rochester, was located in the area and determined to be impaired on drugs. He was taken into custody and transported to the Plymouth Hospital for clearance.  While waiting for clearance Recupido began to fight with officers.

Jail clearance was eventually obtained and Recupido was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for public intoxication by drugs and resisting held on a $250 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
