Plymouth Police responded to 421 Gilmore Street Friday morning, January 3rd, at about 1:30 after a 911 call was received for an unresponsive male.
When officers arrived, they saw suspected drug paraphernalia located in plain view.
The unresponsive male was identified as 21-year-old Tate Dunsizer of the Gilmer Street address in Plymouth.
Dunsizer was transported to Plymouth Hospital for evaluation by medical staff. A Marshall County judge approved a search warrant for the home. After executing the search warrant, Dunsizer was taken into custody and lodged at the Marshall County Jail.
He was booked in on preliminary charges of felony maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a legend drug, possession of narcotics, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
