Plymouth Elks Lodge 2548 is proud to announce their two U.S. Americanism Essay Winners addressing the topic of "What the Bill of Rights Means to Me.",
Isabelle Beeson, an Argos Schools 8th grader, was the 1st Place Winner in the State and was also awarded the 1st Place Winner for Elks National Americanism. Isabelle will be recognized for her Americanism Essay National Award at the Elks Grand Lodge Convention in Austin, TX, on July 2nd.
Elizabeth Macias, a Bremen Jr. High School 6th grader was the 2nd place winner for State.
Luann Evans, Elks Lodge Americanism Chairman said, “We are so proud of these two young ladies!!! Their essays were submitted and judged by the State Americanism Chairman and committee. The essays were required to be 300 words or less. Both young ladies received cash awards from the Indiana Elks Association and Elks National Foundation-Fraternal Committee.”
