Hoosiers for a Conservative Senate Launches Historic Effort to Replace Senator Todd Young with an America First Candidate

Saturday, March 22, 2025, marked a historic day for the State of Indiana as Hoosiers for a Conservative Senate (HFCS) officially relaunched its grassroots campaign to unseat Senator Todd Young and replace him with a true America First conservative. Representatives from each of Indiana’s congressional districts gathered to kick off this unified effort, signaling a renewed commitment to restoring Indiana’s values and rejecting the influence of the Washington, D.C. swamp.  Marshall County Commissioner Jesse Bohannon was part of the first organizational meeting saying, “I was part of the process of removing Indiana’s most troublesome RINO, Republican In Name Only,” referring to Senator Todd Young.

The press release from Hoosiers for a Conservative Senate follows:

Senator Todd Young’s tenure has been marked by a steady drift toward liberal policies and a consistent opposition to the America First agenda championed by President Donald Trump. From his voting record to his public positions, Young has alienated Hoosier conservatives who demand a senator aligned with their principles. A detailed examination of his record reveals a troubling pattern: support for reckless spending, collaboration with Senate Democrats like Chuck Schumer, and a refusal to stand with Trump and his supporters at critical moments.

Monica Boyer, Founder of Hoosiers for a Conservative Senate, expressed unwavering confidence in the campaign ahead. “We know this process has been successful in the past when we retired Senator Dick Lugar, and we know the process will be successful this time,” Boyer said. “We are energized and we are ready to remove Senator Young from his seat and replace him with a strong, America First conservative in May and November.”

As part of today’s agenda, HFCS gathered to listen to former Indiana Senator Carlin Yoder, who shared his vision of what he can bring to this office. Yoder, a proven Conservative leader during his tenure in the Indiana State Senate from 2008 to 2016, offered insights into how his experience and commitment to Hoosier values could guide the state toward a stronger, more principled representation in the U.S. Senate.

Hoosiers for a Conservative Senate is mobilizing voters across the state to demand a senator who will fight for secure borders, economic prosperity, and traditional values—not one who bends to the will of the liberal establishment. Today’s launch event marks the beginning of a robust primary challenge, with HFCS already identifying and rallying behind potential America First candidates to take on Young in the upcoming election cycle.

“We’re not just sending a message—we’re taking action,” Boyer added. “Indiana deserves a senator who reflects our values, not the swamp’s. Today, we start the fight to make that a reality.”
