Jason McFarland arrested by city police for residential entry

Plymouth Police investigated a possible residential entry Wednesday morning, July 7th at one o’clock. 

Plymouth Police were dispatched to 1005 Lincolnway East Apartment 7 for a possible residential entry.  As they arrived on the scene, they encountered a male subject attempting to leave the residence through the back door. 

The male was later identified as 40-year-old Jason McFarland of Union Road in Plymouth. 

McFarland is known to Plymouth Officers, and it was known that he was not supposed to be inside the residence. 

Jason McFarland was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked on charges of residential entry and resisting law enforcement.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
