A 29-year-old Plymouth man was arrested for a domestic disturbance on Friday, August 30th, just before 7 p.m. on Broadway Street.

Officers with the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to 709 Broadway Street after a caller advised 911 that the male slammed the door open and had driven there from another residence where County Police had dealt with the same male subject.

Dispatch was informed that Kalin Lord, 29, of Tomahawk Trail in Plymouth, was intoxicated and had gotten physical with the female.

City officers arrived and determined that Lord was highly intoxicated and stated that he was loud and wouldn't keep his voice down. He was then taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication, and while in the rear of the patrol vehicle, he tried to break out the window, causing minor damage.

Kalin Lord was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, operator never licensed, and criminal mischief.  He was held on a $250 cash bond and released on Saturday, August 31st, at 7:30 a.m., when his bond was paid.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
