Members of the Marshall County Election Board met Tuesday in the County Building meeting room and approved the Vote Center Resolution which lays out the vote center locations around the county, the number of voting machines in each center, and additional required equipment.
County Clerk Jenny Bennet said there was one change, adding additional voting machines for early voting in Culver and Bremen. In the primary election, each location had two machines, and both asked for at least three machines if not four. The clerk said they could accommodate the request and will put four machines in Culver’s Early Vote Center on Saturday, October 26, and four in Bremen’s Early Vote Center on November 2nd. Early Saturday voting will also be available in the County Clerk’s Office in the courthouse on both Saturdays. Saturday day hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Early voting in the clerk's office will be Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning on Tuesday, October 8th. The Travel Board will begin voting for those who are homebound on October 17th.
The Marshall County Election Board also approved the certification of ballots for each precinct in the county.
Indiana residents who want to vote in the November 5th Presidential Election have a few days left to register to vote. The deadline to register to vote is Monday, October 7th.
