The Marshall County Historical Museum in Plymouth is excited to announce that the Indiana Historical Society Awards Committee has selected the Marshall County Historical Society and Museum to receive the Indiana History Outstanding Event or Project Award.
The award is for the reimagined Historic Crossroads Center exhibit, which debuted in July 2023. The exhibit tells the story of how the evolution of transportation changed the trajectory of Marshall County History. A timeline of graphics and artifacts shows the history from the Potawatomi origin story to the construction of transcontinental highways in the early 1900s.
The award will be presented this fall at the Museum. If you haven’t seen the Historic Crossroads Center, come in anytime from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. The Museum is located at 123 North Michigan Street in Plymouth. Contact us at 574-936-2306.
