Missing Miami man arrested by city police for operator never licensed

A Florida driver who was entered as a missing person out of Miami was stopped for speeding by Plymouth Police on Western Avenue north of North Street.

On Wednesday evening, Officer Fisher stopped a vehicle for driving 48-mph in a 35-mph zone.   

The driver was identified as Tristan Hernandez-Galindo, 21, of Miami.

During the traffic stop, it was verified that Hernandez-Galindo had never had a driver's license. He was placed under arrest for operator never licensed.

The officer also found that Hernandez-Galindo was entered as a missing person from Miami. 

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
