Plymouth Police were dispatched to 223 1/2 North Walnut Street for a report of a domestic altercation in progress at about 12:20 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15th.

City Officers found 47-year-old Joshua Neff of Mishawaka extremely irate and violent inside the home. He resisted law enforcement as they attempted to detain him. Ultimately, Neff was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail for domestic battery, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.  He was held on a $750 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
