Officer Fisher with the Plymouth Police Department stopped a vehicle for driving without its headlights on Tuesday night at 8:10. The vehicle was on Michigan Road at Airport Road.
During the stop, it was determined that the driver,22-year-old Lucas Rosares of New York City, never had a driver's license.
Rosares was then taken into custody and transported to Marshall County Jail, where he was booked in for operator never licensed. His cash bond was paid at 11 p.m. and he was released on bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
