Purchase your tickets now for four great concerts, two classic movies, and a free book launch party this November at The Rees in Plymouth. It all begins this Saturday with Duke Tumatoe’s return to the Bob Pickell Performing Arts Stage.
Duke Tumatoe performs on Saturday, Nov. 2, 7:30 p.m. Singer/songwriter and blues guitarist Duke Tomatoe has played with greats Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, B.B. King, Willie Dixon, Buddy Guy, John Fogerty, and George Thorogood. He has released 15 albums as leader of Duke Tumatoe & the All-Star Frogs and Duke Tumatoe & the Power Trio. Tickets are $20 general admission and $40 for the balcony.
On Saturday, Nov. 9, 7:30 p.m. - One of the most exciting live acts in Indiana’s Latino rock scene, D’Classics will make their first appearance at The REES. This band has been influenced by the classics like Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones, as well as Santana, Soda Stereo and Enanitos Verdes. Tickets are $20 general admission, $40 for the balcony.

Thursday, Nov. 21, 7:30 p.m. - The Marshall County Church Orchestra is celebrating its 20th anniversary with “The Sounds of Christmas,” a special holiday concert. The ensemble of 50-60 musicians - from fifth graders to people in their 80s - creates a heartwarming atmosphere to kick off the holiday season. Since this event sells out each year, people are encouraged to purchase their $15 tickets early.
Saturday, Nov. 23, 7:30 p.m. - Based out of Oklahoma City, Showdown offers an evening of classic rock, funk and old-school rhythm-and-blues just the way you remember it. The band’s decades-long career has won a loyal following of fans and the respect of their peers. They have also earned the title of Mid-Michigan’s Classic Rock Journeymen. Tickets are $20 general admission, $40 for the balcony.
The Seasoned Citizens Matinee on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 2 p.m. is Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Watch Audrey Hepburn’s iconic performance as Holly Golightly highlights this classic. Immerse yourself in the glamour and charm of her character as she navigates the streets of New York. Admission is $5 with seasoned citizens (55-and-over) receiving a free popcorn and soft drink.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the Family Night Feature on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 7:30 p.m. A special viewing of the first Harry Potter classic. This family movie event will see the Gibson Auditorium divided into four houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Come dressed as your favorite Harry Potter character and celebrate Harry’s journey, where hands-on magical moments will bring out the wizard in all of us. Tickets are $5 for adults, children 12-and-under free with paid adult.

Thursday, Nov. 7, 6 p.m. - Author Pebbles Wireman will share her amazing story of faith and perseverance at this free book launch party. Buy her new book, “Finding Faith in the Storm,” and have her sign it during the special meet-and-greet session. While tickets are free, people are asked to reserve their seats.
